Active Trader Sales Registered Representative – Plantation, Fl and Chicago, IL
TradeStation Securities' Active Trader Sales Department is seeking self-motivated team players to professionally communicate the benefits of our industry-leading online brokerage platform. Representatives will pre-qualify prospective clients based upon our suitability criteria required to open a new account and then assist prospective clients with the account opening process.

Responsibilities:

  • Required to make a minimum amount of lead follow-ups per day.
  • Ability to proactively prospect existing data base as well as new prospects. •
  • Must possess the ability of turning new prospects into clients and meeting corporate sales goals.

Requirements:

Institutional Relationship Manager – Temporary Position – Plantation, FL
The Institutional Relationship Manager will play an integral role in maintaining and supporting the Institutional clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide account services support to Institutional clients and RIA's for all areas of account maintenance which include account activity inquiries, online account access, allocations support, data management, soft dollar, auditor requests, DVP/RVP settlements, margin calls and corporate actions.
  • Provide sales support to the Institutional Sales Reps and Prime Services Division throughout the account opening process and ongoing account management request.

EasyLanguage Engineer – Richardson, TX
Our Richardson, Texas branch office is seeking a qualified, creative EasyLanguage Engineer to help design and develop technical analysis studies and trading tools using our proprietary development language called EasyLanguage®

  • Support our large and growing online community at the TradeStation Securities support web site via the EasyLanguage discussion forums and wiki.
  • Provide technical assistance to active and institutional traders to translate their trading ideas and approaches into customized studies and automated trading strategies in EasyLanguage.

Senior Event Coordinator – Plantation, FL
TradeStation's Events Department is seeking a Senior Event Coordinator who will assist in the logistics and production of live and online events.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for trade shows, online events, live seminars and symposiums to include booth design, equipment orders, shipping, setup/dismantle, scheduling and all other details required to produce events.
  • Monitor and execute post show account opening campaigns, ensuring all leads from an event are immediately entered into the CRM for follow up.
  • Assist with the project management, tracking and approvals for all events and work with the Director of Client Events as a liaison with event guest speakers.
  • Track GL activity on an ongoing basis, properly code all incoming bills and invoices, monitor real-time budget vs. actual expenses to ensure budget goals are met, incorporate ways to reduce costs for assigned events.
  • Must have the ability to travel 20% of the time in addition to working nights, weekends and holidays for assigned events.
  • Ability to learn the TradeStation software, commission structure and other pertinent sales information in order to be able to successfully work an exhibit booth or seminar for all assigned events.

TradeStation Securities' Client Services Department is seeking representatives who will be responsible for end to end client support. The client base that is serviced consists of sophisticated traders that require a unique level of support. The position will be responsible for client education, client trading support, platform troubleshooting, and product support. The candidate will be expected to work as a liaison to Operations, Sales and other departments to ensure resolution to all customer requests and issues in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolving client inquiries via email and phone.

This position requires extensive troubleshooting and will partner effectively with other departments to insure proper service. The candidate will need to be detail oriented and will be required to learn different aspects and terminology in different markets.

Our Engineering Front Office Department is seeking a Software Engineer to design, implement and maintain software applications; work with contacts from multiple departments on requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing, roll-out and maintenance; provide thorough documentation for assigned projects; act as a Lead of certain projects and track and report status of assigned tasks.

The ideal candidate must have strong C++, OOD/OOP and Win32 SDK. MFC, ATL, COM, STL, multi-threading programming and XML. .NET framework, database development, web development and UI frameworks: StingRay, BCGSoft, preferable. Proficiency with development tools such as BoundsChecker, TrueTime, MemoryValidator, and VTune. Software Test Engineer – Order Execution – Plantation, FL
Join the Quality Assurance Department in our technologies subsidiary testing our TradeStation Order Execution Network, documenting defects as well as creating and executing test plans of complex trading network backend systems. The incumbent will be responsible for testing of key software components that make up the building blocks of our Order Execution network. Knowledge of the software development life cycle is expected.

Main Duties:
Job responsibilities include testing of all code/configuration changes to the TradeStation Order Execution software, database and report components, test plan creation and execution of complex client/server systems. Defect tracking and post production deployment validation of changes made to a multi-tier client-server environment working closely with Engineering in Richardson, TX and Product Management in Plantation, FL.

Requirements:
The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and be a team player that is assertive and goal-oriented who can also work on repetitive tasks as needed to achieve those goals with limited supervision. Microsoft SQL Server DBA certification (MCDBA) or equivalent SQL Programming experience or certification is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required. Our IT Department is seeking a talented, goal oriented individual.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for design, implementation, testing, management and administration of all Data Center network operations.

Main Duties:

  • Design and implementation of new Data Center services.

Vice President of Marketing – Plantation, FL
This position is responsible for leading the Marketing team at TradeStation. This includes overall brand stewardship and, the corporate identity, planning, creative and execution of all external communication (interactive, web and traditional media), all interactive aspects of lead generation, capture and conversion, market research, data analysis. To succeed in this position will require management of both long term strategic positioning and branding as well as shorter term promotional programs. The person in this position will play a critical role in shaping customer and prospect perceptions of TradeStation and ultimately our success in achieving long term business goals. The position has lead responsibility for coordinating consistency of message and branding across all channels employed by TradeStation, including (in addition to directly managed responsibilities) education, events, and sales support. While this position will not directly manage these functions, some of which will report to the COO and others of which will not, this person must create and own the creative platform and graphics standards employed throughout the company. The position is responsible for production vendors used by TradeStation as well as internal designers and copywriters.

Database Administrator – Plantation, FL
TradeStation Technologies is seeking an experienced DBA to be responsible for the support and maintenance of database infrastructure and the planning and management of data as a resource. Incumbents at this level perform routine database administration/development.

Resposibilities:

  • Assists in supporting data access and administration.
  • Assists in creation of database forms and reports.
  • Contributes to preparation and maintenance of documentation.
  • Writes database programs to provide reports.
  • Provides operational support for database backup and recovery.

Requirements:

  • Experience in banking system.
  • Experience in installation, upgrade and configuration of SQL Server 2005-2008 and databases.
  • Experience in configuration and administration of SSIS.
  • Experience in Replication, specifically in Merge Replication.
  • Experience of high availability SQL Server solutions, including SQL Server Log shipping and SQL Server clustering.
  • Experience in database backup and recovery models.
  • Experience in supporting large database systems and troubleshooting live banking system.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 2 years experience in database administration using SQL Server 2005-2008 is required. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may also serve to meet these minimum requirements.
